Antique carpet (SOLD)

Interesting old piece, with suggestions of an earlier period in the floral Herati pattern. Possibly from the North West Persian, Tabriz area – but texture suggests east Persian..??  So a lovely looking kellah, with a soft brick-field and pale blues within a yellow border. Condition, probably missing outer borders, old repairs, replaced bindings to sides and ends. Size: 12.2” x  5.3” (3.70 x 1.60)
